Being a leader, start telling yourself the truth! You keep in mind that earlier in this book, I quoted Goethe, “Treat a man as he is and he will remain what he is. Treat a man as he must be and he will become what he should be.”
That also applies to YOU. Understand to speak the truth to yourself about what you should be. Shake off the negative thoughts, the pessimistic evaluations of your self, and also the harmful thoughts about your abilities as well as your future. They are all lies. The Bible says, “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; Consequently, choose life that both you and your descendants may live.” Deuteronomy 30:19
You have the power to select everyday living and death, blessing or the curse. Being a leader, pick existence. Yes, it’s that simple. You might have the power to make that choice. You are able to go using the flow of negativism, doubt, and fear which is so rampant in our society. Or, it is possible to choose to bless your life, your dreams, your family, your work, and your entire environment. It is possible to make a distinction!
One person told me that she arrives at her office 1 hour before anyone else. In that hour, she walks the halls praying for everybody who works there and for the goals and also the tasks at hand. She speaks blessing over the entire building. She is choosing life. From what I’ve been teaching you in this book, let me give you some truths to speak to yourself as well as your surroundings.
